Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

  15. In the past I saw a doctor who came across a bit arrogant and not easy to talk to or showed no concern. Dr. Park was an answer to my prayer for a physician who I felt confidence in, communicated well and was knowledgeable of my situation. I am VERY pleased with my time with him.

  20. This was the first time we had met Dr. Park and we were over the moon with our visit. He carefully listen to our concerns and ask us about past history. He also was wonderful at explaining when surgery was indicated and what the markers for that were it was very reassuring to us. His examination was completely thorough and he explained what he was doing every step of the way, which was so appreciated. His approach to medicine is both one of skill and also importing knowledge to the patient about their own condition. It was incredibly helpful. In addition to all these positive aspects, we both just have to say he was totally empathetic and friendly, and we are most certainly looking forward to working with him in the future.

  24. Excellent

  25. I don't doubt his abilities, but the appt seemed a bit perfunctory. And the after. Isn't summary had a ton of boiler plate some of which was inaccurate relative to me. Z.b. It said I didn't drive at night. I don't remember being asked about that nor do I remember saying it. I DO drive at night. The report also mentioned some things being done that didn't happen many of these being things explained to me which were not. It sort of felt as if I should ask questions about things I didn't know to ask questions about. Hmmm

  26. Dr. Park is the best. Would go anywhere to see him. He is right on top of the issue and I am grateful to have him as my physician.

  27. Very thoughtful, kind, explained well

  29. Always excellent

  30. I liked Dr. Park a lot. He took his time, answered all my questions in terminology I could understand. I appreciated his care.
