About me

Dr. Dong-Wouk Park is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the OHSU School of Medicine providing adult comprehensive as well as medical retina services.

Dr. Park completed his residency at Casey Eye Institute, then went on to complete a fellowship in retina at the Cleveland Clinic before returning to Casey Eye Institute. He specializes in adult eye exams and cataract and intraocular lenses. Dr. Park's research has been focused on imaging in retinal diseases and delivery of care in underserved areas. 

In his free time Dr. Park enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering on the Casey Community Outreach Mobile Clinic.

  8. The Doctor showed such care and concern, he even helped me to get my prescription because I could not afford it. I literally almost cried, he was so kind and compassionate. He also reminded me that although I had no choice about the accident that happened to my left eye, I had a choice about being responsible for taking care of the good eye I have left. He said it without shaming me, and I am going to make a point to care as much about my eye as he does. I am so grateful, and totally amazed. I have always gotten excellent care at the center for health and healing, but this was way above and beyond. I cant even find the words.
