Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  21. Beth and Diane are so very good and take the time to serve me.

  22. Very good need to go to the lab but lab was close @ 4:30

  23. Always thorough. Good info in easy to understand language.

  24. 40 minutes late didn't know what the appointment was for. Seemed scattered, unorganized, confused, and rambled on about everything but medical. Was more interested in talking about herself

  25. OHSU doctors and staff care for my cardiac needs. They've always been friendly, informative and caring.

  26. Diane is very knowledgeable and professional but also very personable. She listens to my concerns, asks questions, answers my questions and takes whatever time is needed to provide care for me.

  27. I arrived at recommended time, 15 minutes before actual appointment time. I waited 25 minutes before being called back for vitals. I waited another 45 minutes BEFORE clinician EVEN ENTERED EXAM ROOM FOR APPOINTMENT. So, why did I even arrive 15 minutes early, to not to be seen for another 55 minutes??????? Clinician did apologize, "over booked with appointments?" I asked "Do YOU have time for me, TODAY? " I was on the verge of walking out the door, since No One seemed ready or able to start my appointment.

  28. Really good continuity of care.

  29. Diane was pleasant enough to me and my husband. I felt her desire to want to help me with my weight for good cardiovascular health down the road, but I was not coming for shots, and definitely not for gastric procedures. She seemed to really want to find an immediate solution. Maybe I was just not in the right frame of mind as she arrived almost an hour late to my appt. And brought two others with her who frankly seemed bored to be ending their day with me. I didn't know what to expect when I first started this journey except to be open minded about what cardiology wanted me to try. Ive tried hard to be positive about my health and weight but I left feeling worse than when I arrived. I've done the labs she requested for me but felt as if we are not a great fit.

  30. 2nd time I have seen her and not only was she almost an hour late she was repetitive , same as the 1st apt and had something negative to say about other doctors that had provided care for me. I found it to be unprofessional.
