About me
Dr. Dugi specializes in reconstructive surgery for problems of the urinary and genital system. He has advanced training in the treatment of urethral and ureteral strictures, as well as complex problems such as buried penis, adult complications of hypospadias, genital lymphedema, and recto-urethral fistula.
In 2016, Dr. Dugi began to focus on gender-affirming genital surgery for people across the gender spectrum. He offers gender-affirming vaginoplasty and vulvoplasty, orchiectomy, and metoidioplasty, as well as revision surgeries. He also offers care for complications of these and other genital surgeries done elsewhere.
In addition to surgical care, Dr Dugi was co-founder of OHSU's Transgender Health Program in 2012. He is the program’s Director of Surgical Services, one of the most comprehensive and highest volume gender programs in the nation. He is the Fellowship director for OHSU’s Gender-affirming and Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery fellowship. He is active in advocacy, education, and research.

Dr Dugi was very clear and caring. Explained options very well.
Dr. Dugi was willing to talk through his decision process and surgical technique with me. He was the only GCS provider I've had that was willing to discuss trade offs If surgery with my history, but was still willing to try because he knew how important this surgery was to me.
Amazing experience
Fantastic, nothing but praise for Dr. Dugi and his team.
Excellent care but would like more time to get more questions answered.
I've had clinicians who were uncaring before. Rarely have I experienced one who felt openly hostile. Daniel Dugi is in the latter category.
Everybody I interacted with was super professional, kind, and warm.
I've seen him several times. I trust him
He is someone I trust to talk to. He cares about choices, explains pro & cons. Very good in all aspects of medical care
Very open and informative. Always felt heard and respected for my decisions.
Clear communication, kind, and easy to trust.
Dr. Dugi was kind, approachable, and answered all my questions. He took time to explain things to me and clearly took an interest in me as a patient. I could tell he cared about me having my needs met.
I felt listened to and respected. The clinician answered my questions, treated me fairly, and did not stigmatize my body
Everyone is very friendly, caring, and helpful.
Very kind, good at explaining things. Skilled surgeon.
Dr. Dugi was very gentle and compassionate in his care.
