Biography

Dr. Dugi specializes in reconstructive urology for problems of the urinary and genital system. He has advanced training in the treatment of urethral and ureteral strictures, as well as complex problems such as buried penis, adult complications of hypospadias, genital lymphedema, and recto-urethral fistula.

Dr. Dugi also specializes in gender-affirming genital surgery, having sought additional training in the US and Europe. He offers gender-affirming vaginoplasty and vulvoplasty (also known as MtF SRS/GRS), orchiectomy, and metoidioplasty. He works with Dr Jens Berli in Plastic Surgery to offer FtM phalloplasty. He also offers care for complications of these and other genital surgeries done elsewhere, as well as care for non-binary and gender non-conforming people.

In addition to surgical care, Dr Dugi was co-founder of OHSU's Transgender Health Program in 2012.  He continues to be a very active leader in the program, one of the most comprehensive and highest volume gender programs in the nation. He is active in advocacy, education, and research.

  • Dec 01, 2018

Dr.Dugi has been very friendly and helpful every time I've met with him. He answers my questions clearly and hasn't once made me feel ridiculous for asking anything. Having him as a surgeon kept my nervousness to a minimum when I had my recent surgery.

  • Nov 29, 2018

Dr. Dugi lll is a highly skilled surgeon that has the great responsiblity of turning peoples lives for the better. His professionalism, compassion for his patients is beyond the call of of OHSU standards and as a teaching hospital he is God sent and will worth the effort to get him here at OHSU. He has my life and others in his hands and he delivers in every way regarding transgender health matters and then some. My appointment was an event lone waited for and he called today to make sure that I'm ready for December 10th. His destiny will be a legend the school can build on and the LGBTQ community can trust in for the next patient he attends to and I thank him very much.

  • Nov 26, 2018

I like Dr. Dugi just fine. But the wait time to get a very short appointment was it was just ludicrous, was almost an hour just to get seen for 5 minutes. It was my first time there but so far so good.

  • Nov 26, 2018

He was kind, knowledgeable, he wanted to talk and answer questions, he was there and explained his procedure very clearly - highly recommend.

  • Nov 25, 2018

It went really well. He and his staff were very professional and took the time to answer any and all questions

  • Nov 16, 2018

Doc, excuse me, doctor was kind. He brought in two or three other people, interns and whatever and I had no problem with that. I appreciate that he's able to help other people to be able to help people like me.
