Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

I often develop anxiety about my condition. Dr Henriksen and his team read me pretty well and explain what is going on in depth, answering all of my questions and clarifying what I don't understand. It feels like I matter. I understand risks to watch for and what procedures may become necessary in the future as conditions change with time and age. My current anxiety is at a much lower level than when I arrived for my appointment.
Very friendly and professional.
