Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

He was very attentive and efficient.
I appreciated that Dr Vanek was receptive to hearing my concerns. He is personable, professional, and did a thorough exam.
He's very thorough and listened to my needs. Ran appropriate test that other clinicians haven't looked into yet. I felt heard for the first time in the 4 years of dealing with this
Very professional and helpful
I never dealt with a nurse, only Dr. Vanek. He was professional, extremely thorough, answered questions and left me feeling I had been well cared for
I've just met Dr. Vanek but I have no reason to think I wouldn't recommend him.

He was very thorough. He listened to my concerns and addressed all of my questions. I felt like he did not rush and considered my thoughts about my health care plan.
He is clear and to the point.
Dr. Vanik is highly professional and listens to all concerns.
Very efficient but on point. No small talk. Asked and answered questions in a clear and concise manner. I felt he had a strong hold on conversation.
Have been seeing Dr. Vanek for maybe 10 years now, and although the first few years before COVID I saw him in his office, during lockdown we went to televisits, and now due to my living 3 hrs away and advanced age, I love having the convenience of televisits as it keeps me going right on track with my meds and my needs being addressed by the doctor who I trust.
