About me

Ashley Chinn is a physician assistant specializing in primary care who enjoys providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients that are centered on health and wellness.

A native Oregonian who graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at OHSU, Chinn has special interests in women’s and adolescent health, and preventive medicine.

Outside of work, Chinn likes spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and exploring the great Pacific Northwest.

  6. Meds refilled without problem.....able to get labs while in room ......friendly, professional.... Explained why she wasn't going to refill a med that is usually ordered by Rheumatology.... Explained why labs were needed.....

  12. Ashley Chinn has been my primary care provider for more than 6 years. She's exemplary, showing compassion, patience, and understanding. She addresses all my concerns and questions fully and she is personable and kind.

  13. The clinician was thorough and informative but seemed extraordinarily rushed. While there were clear assessments and recommendations for my child she hasn't followed through on some information requested that she said she would provide with our after visit summary. She had provided a lot of specifics about the specific diet to follow as my child recovers and because it was a lot of information to take in at once I'd asked if she would also send it afterwards. More than a day later I've yet to receive anything. It's difficult to know if I am properly following the course of treatment recommended after the visit without this information, especially because I also need to communicate specifics clearly with my wife.

  27. The OHSU Family Practice staff works together like a well oiled machine. From the front desk person who checked me in quickly and professionally, including making sure that my parking was validated. The medical assistant who took me back to the exam room, introduced herself and asked how I was feeling. PA Ashley Chinn was professional, efficient, and friendly. She scheduled me for x-rays of my hand, which I then completed with Radiology. 37 minutes after I began my appointment, I was in my car, headed home. That's efficiency.
