Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  6. Re: Dr. Mattos, easy to converse with, intelligent, and insightful. I was pleasantly enlightened by his delivery of what I am to expect with potential transplant procedures. I had similiar experiences with Jade Anderson,(Nutritionist), Danielle Boschetto,(Pharmacist), Candas Gill,(Social Worker), and there was a surgeon and nurse that I conferred with (cannot recall their names). I took notes, asked questions and received answers to those inquiries. It seems as though I have enough information to write a book on kidney transplant and quite possibly a best seller!? Thank you very much to the team of specialists that I encountered on that busy day of evaluation.

  7. They were all helpful. We asked questions they answered.
