About me
Dr. McLeod is a hematologist/oncologist who enjoys taking care of patients with a variety of cancers and blood disorders. She values being a resource for patients with these diagnoses and greatly appreciates guiding them through the complex process of cancer and hematologic care. She is excited about the continuing advances in the fields of hematology and oncology and implementing them to improve outcomes for her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, hiking, biking, and running, especially with her husband and twin boys. When indoors, reading, watching movies, and playing board games rate as some of the family’s favorite activities.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Very friendly from the beginning, explained everything I could understand, asked if I had any questions
Dr Mcleod is always very concerned with how I am doing and makes sure I understand all the lab results. She also encourages me to call if I have any questions. I have called her once and she got back to me within the hour.
Very pleasant
Explanation and meeting of my treatment and prognosis was clear and allowed me to ask questions.
I was so impressed with my OHSU experience. First of all, the waiting room felt clean and safe--masks were mandatory, the clipboards were sanitized, and there were separate containers for clean and used pens, none of which was true at my previous provider's office. Everyone I interacted with was kind and competent. My new doctor was so informed, caring, and responsive. Instead of rushing through the appointment in less than 20 minutes, as was my experience with my previous provider, the doctor was patient and thorough, and took the time to consider all my questions and concerns. It was an excellent experience, thank you.
Professional and friendly approach
Good bed side manners. Kind and a good listener with understandable replies to questions.
Very concerned I had the correct information and was directed to properly finding the problem.

The doctor is kind and patient. She is so comforting. The nursing asst was also kind, but did not introduce herself or the man following her around. Not sure if he was a student or a new employee.
I was so pleased with the experience and help I received during my appointment on a certain issue that I called my family and friends that evening to tell them how much better I felt because of their care.
