Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  1. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

  2. My clinician was professional and friendly.

  3. Dr. Nanji goes above and beyond to give me all the help I need when I have questions.

  4. Everything was very professional

  5. Very good experience

  6. I trust Dr. Nanji

  7. I am -very- skittish about people messing with my eyes, and Dr Nanji has earned my trust over two surgeries now. I'm very pleased I chose Casey Eye to have this work done.

  8. Very good

  9. All the staff took time to explain thoroughly what was going on with my eyes, the options moving forward and answered all of my questions.

  10. There are not enough positive adjectives for me to describe how much I love the Casey Eye Institute in Portland. I felt comfortable, listened to, and my concerns taken very seriously. Literally everyone, from the parking garage attendant, to the people at the registration desk, to the clinicians taken care of the test before I saw the actual doctor, and the doctor herself, was like a total dream team.

  11. They are100%. All off those who are serving me, everything they did, be it Medical. Opinion, Personal touch of my situation - that is music to my ears and total satisfaction. Their concern for my health and the care how they handled it, eas over the roof and out of the park..... And there was always a smile on both sides of the fence. Job/service.... Well done.

  12. Already have! Couple of my younger siblings will need DMEK. Have suggested strongly to st least give Casey Eye and Dr. Nanji a visit.

  13. Dr. Nanji is a credit to the medical field

  14. Professional. Efficient. Answered questions with clarity.

  15. Knowledgeable, patient, upbeat.

  16. I felt the care was very good overall. I think I would have preferred for her to offer more information about my diagnosis and its long term implications as a lot of the information I received was the result of me asking questions rather than her explaining everything at the outset.

  17. Dr Nanji is thorough, professional, friendly & highly skilled. She also has "attention to detail". I am very grateful to be under her care!!

  18. Excellent Dr and staff!

  19. Excellent job

  20. Very knowledgable about my rare eye condition. She was personable, discussed possible options with me, She had me schedule a follow up appointment to see how it's coming along with her suggestions of OTC treatments.

  21. Dr. Nanji is the best she is patient she's thoughtful. She takes the time to answer all your questions. She make sure that you know how to reach someone if you need anything after your procedures.

  22. Very good . All of the questions I asked were throughly answered.

  23. Always helpful, respectful, professional!

  24. She has done an excellent job with surgery on my corneas in both eyes. I would have appreciated more information in writing before the surgeries and regarding post-op care.

  25. Dr. Afshan A. Nanji is very professional, caring, and considerate. She answered all of our questions and concerns. She described the treatment plan and her reassurance was greatly appreciated. I felt completely confident in Dr. Nanji to perform the surgery. The surgery was a success and I am recovering very well. I have mentioned Dr. Nanji to friends and relatives, and I would absolutely recommend her.

  26. Thanks to all that helped.

  27. Excellent experience. I have seen Dr. Nanji on and off again for several years and am thankful for her expertise in both ocular & cancer care.
