Dr. Alexandra Haigh studied biochemistry at the University of New Mexico and worked at the Refugee Wellbeing Project, which works to support refugee children and families. She continued that work in medical school, where she also investigated suboxone availability in New Mexico hospitals and served as a clinical reasoning facilitator for first-year medical students.

In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and baking.
