Electronic Residency Application System 2021 opens on on September 15, 2020 for applicants. Applications should be submitted by Monday, October 26, 2020 for consideration. The program will be holding virtual interviews in December 2020.
The Radiation Oncology Residency Program will be participating in virtual interviews for the 2020-2021 recruitment season in accordance with the recommendations from The Coalition for Physician Accountability’s Work Group.
The program will be recruiting for two residency positions, starting in July 2022, during this recruitment season. Residency interviews will be held virtually in December 2020. All Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) applications are reviewed by the Radiation Medicine Residency Committee. Invitations to interview with the program are sent to selected candidates in November via an online scheduling portal. Approximately 15-20 applicants are selected for personal interviews, per residency slot available. Interviews will be conducted by faculty physicians, current residents and select department staff.
We are currently planning on using WebEx video conferencing platform.
A completed Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application includes the following:
- Personal Statement
- Letters of Recommendation
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE or Dean’s Letter)
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE and/or COMLEX-USA Transcripts
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Status Report (IMGs only)
- Applications open in ERAS on September 15, 2020
- 2021 Match Registration opens on September 15, 2020
- Applications portal opens for OHSU on October 21, 2020
- DEADLINE for applications to OHSU is October 26, 2020
- Residency Interviews held in December 2020
- 2021 Match Registration closes on January 31, 2021
- MATCH DAY is March 19, 2021

We ask that you download and test Webex prior to your interview day to avoid any video and audio technical difficulties on your interview day. We will provide a meeting space for you the day before you interview to test your Webex's performance.

Residency interviews will be held via Webex and the interview days begin promptly at 7:00am PST. Interviews are conducted with panels of two faculty physicians over a 20-minute period. Candidates may also interview with faculty physicists, department administrator, radiation therapist manager and lead dosimetrists.
The interview format will be individual rooms with faculty members and residents will rotate rooms. Interviews may be recorded.
An interview schedule with Webex room links, call-in information and technical support will be provided to you the week before your interview.
