Join us for pathology grand rounds and seminars
OHSU Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine hosts weekly grand rounds for faculty, staff, trainees and medical students. Faculty and invited speakers present new research, complex diagnostic cases and wellness topics. Our monthly unknown case series challenges your diagnostic reasoning in a collaborative setting.

How to attend grand rounds
We hold virtual events year-round on Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Physicians can earn up to 45 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per year simply by attending grand rounds. One credit per session.

How do I earn CME credit?
Physicians may claim one AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ per session. That adds up to 45 credits per academic year by attending weekly.
When will I receive my CME certificate?
CME certificates for grand rounds are issued quarterly, approximately four to six weeks after the end of the previous quarter.
Who attends grand rounds?
Grand rounds are primarily attended by OHSU faculty, staff, residents, fellows and medical students. Outside healthcare providers with an interest in pathology are welcome to inquire about attendance.
Will sessions be recorded?
Some sessions may be recorded and made available after the event. Check with the department for recording access.

CME accreditation
OHSU School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine designates each grand rounds session for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
