DMICE Professor Dr. Paul Gorman and Nichole Tyler, PhD. Dr. Tyler is graduating from the MD program before moving on to a pediatrics residency.  Dr. Gorman was Dr. Tyler's academic coach in the MD program before she moved on to do the PhD work, " Artificial Intelligence and Physiologic Models for the Management of Type 1 Diabetes.”  She is wearing an eagle feather in her cap and a beautiful red ceremonial robe, founded in her Native American roots, handmade by her and her mother. On the back they embroidered a NW Native American style graphic of an eagle protecting a baby.
