Biography

Talia has medical experience working in inner city Philadelphia, rural Iowa, and across the globe in Burundi Africa, Haiti, and Guatemala.

Outside of caring for patients, Talia is passionate about the sport of gymnastics, and has spent more than 20 years of her life as both an athlete and a coach. She enjoys running and other fitness challenges. In her free time, Talia loves spending time with her husband, active toddler, and two dogs.

    Talia was welcoming and professional and sympathetic to my issue. She listened to my symptoms, quickly confirmed my UTI and provided the prescription info to my pharmacy and specific instructions. Less than 24 hours later I was feeling much better and am following her directions to the letter.

    I saw Talia, she was very nice and thorough. I liked her. The nurse I saw was really nice and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. They both answered my all my questions.

    She's nice. Didn't spend a lot of time with me, not a lot of eye contact. Didn't ask me anything about myself or my history. I felt like we didn't connect well.

    I went in with a broken foot. Explained that to the nurse practitioner that you're calling me about. She did not listen to any of my concerns, anything that I had said, the medication that I was on, it wasn't helping me or anything like that. I had to take my boot off for the for the break to show her. She wasn't even going to ask me to take the boot off to take a look at it or anything like that. She assumed that the break was a fracture at the tip of my toe. Come to find out today when I seen the specialist, my foot is completely broken, and I have to go in for surgery and have screws put in. So I am not likely at all to recommend her to anyone that I would know or don't even know for the simple fact that, first things first, she didn't listen.     Terrible experience. My nurse asked me to go to my room after giving the urine sample. I did so, and another random nurse an [Redacted] girl whose name started with [Redacted] came into my room and rudely told me I had to wait in the waiting room "for imaging." I had not been given my end paperwork. I had not been given additional resources, as the doctor told me she would. And did not receive my prescriptions paperwork. The visit was not over and I was kicked out of my room. I was then in the waiting room and stood by the window (left window) near this guy on the phone, brown hair. He completely ignored me, seeing me as he talked on the phone. He didn't even acknowledge me. I then got his attention and asked if anyone could help me. He said, "she will be back in a few minutes." Finally [Name]eather came back. She told me that this guy on the phone was only supposed to answer the phone. That's funny because he was the one who checked me in, and I also saw him check in two other people. I felt very unimportant as he rudely ignored me. She was one of the only nice and caring staff members. She genuinely cared about my situation and tried to see what happened...she then told me my doctor and nurse were both on a 20 minute break and I couldn't go back to my room because they already started cleaning it. They forgot to finish my visit and didn't even tell me they were going on break. Very unprofessional. Finally, [Name] went to ask them about my prescriptions and end paperwork, and shemade the effort to find them and take her time to care. I applaud her. She's one of the only nice receptionists I've ever seen there. Doctors are good, but the nurses and receptionists are always rude.When I went to pick up one of my prescriptions, I found out my doctor never sent it electronically like she said she would. Lots of negligence at this location.

    Talia was wonderful. She was an excellent provider. However, I did have issues with the prescription she wrote for me (as in, the wrong med was prescribed).
