About me

Kristine has worked in cardiology since 2008 when she was fresh out of nursing school. Helping people understand what's going on with their heart is her passion. From rhythm issues, to open heart surgery to transplantation. Her experience started at the University of Washington Medical Center on the inpatient side, but today she spends her days in the clinic at Center for Health & Healing, where she has greater time for education. Her goal is that her patients feel listened to, and leave their visit with a better understanding of their heart.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and biking with her family, and eating all of the wonderful foods that Portland offers.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
