OHSU Primary Care Clinic, Benson Wellness Center
The Benson Wellness Center is a health clinic at Benson Polytechnic High School in Northeast Portland. Benson High School will be operating at the Marshall Campus for school years 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24.
Patients we treat
Your child’s well-being is our priority. Our dedicated providers and support staff specialize in the development, health and care of children, teens and young adults aged 7 - 21. We can provide all primary care needs for your child, or we can see your child when their primary care provider is not available.
We see all Benson High School and community members regardless of ability to pay. We accept all insurance plans and uninsured patients. School-based clinics such as Benson’s offer easy access to health care in a school setting. This helps remove concerns about cost, transportation or confidentiality that might keep young people from getting the services they need.
Our services
OHSU Family Medicine providers serve as the clinic’s staff. The clinic also includes a mental health counselor, a school nurse and a social worker - staff members provided by the Multnomah County Health Department, Multnomah Education Service District and Portland Public Schools.
The clinic offers wide-ranging services such as:
- In-person and virtual visits
- Regular check-ups
- Sports physicals
- Primary care
- Immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccine
