John Warner, D.M.D.

Biography
John Warner is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University. His clinical and academic work emphasize evidence-based pediatric oral health care, preventive dentistry, and the education of dental students and residents. He leads seminars on behavior guidance, dental trauma, and clinical skills standardization.
A native of Alabama, Dr. Warner earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago and continued advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at OHSU.
Dr. Warner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and holds dental licensure in both Oregon and California. He currently serves on the faculty at OHSU, provides clinical care with Permanente Dental Associates in Portland, and maintains hospital privileges at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
