Biography

Dr. David Zonies is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Critical Care, OHSU Health. He leads strategic, operational, quality and safety practices to ensure high standards for critical care throughout OHSU.

He is a trauma and acute care surgeon in the Division of Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery.

As a research clinician, he focuses on:

  • Critical care and treatment outcomes for patients
  • Economics of emergency care
  • ECMO
  • Palliative care
