Welcome to OHSU's Radiation Oncology Residency Program 2020-2021 residency recruitment page. The program will be participating in virtual interviews for the 2020-2021 recruitment season in accordance with the recommendations from The Coalition for Physician Accountability’s Work Group. The program will be recruiting for two residency positions, starting in July 2022, during this recruitment season.
In order to provide applicants with the character and culture of the Department of Radiation Medicine and the residency program, we are happy to present you with a virtual glimpse of our clinic, faculty, staff and residents.
2021 Main Residency Match Registration is now open. Applications should be submitted by Monday October 26, 2020 for consideration. The program will be holding virtual interviews in early December 2020.

OHSU is located in Portland, Oregon, situated on top of forested Marquam Hill overlooking much of Portland and the Willamette River Valley. The OHSU Department of Radiation Medicine is located in Kohler Pavilion, with views of Mt. Hood and the Portland Aerial Tram seen through our clinic windows.
As the Radiation Oncology Residency Program Director, I take immense pride in ushering our brilliant, intrepid and compassionate residents through their four years of post-graduate training with the mission of cultivating outstanding radiation oncologists equipped with the knowledge and skills to build productive and fulfilling careers as clinicians, educators, researchers and advocates.
2020 has brought unique challenges to many aspects of our personal and professional lives. Even though you may not be able to physically visit us this interview season, I am hopeful that you can still get a sense of the special culture of our residency program: supportive, respectful, personal and fun.

The Radiation Oncology Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited four-year radiation oncology residency. The mission of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program is to cultivate outstanding radiation oncologists equipped with the knowledge and skills to build productive and fulfilling careers as clinicians, educators, researchers and advocates. We strive to provide this training in a diverse, inclusive, collegial educational environment where trainee's wellbeing and professional development are among our utmost priorities and in alignment with the University's mission of healing, teaching and discovery. Training is provided by a combination of supervised clinical experiences, seminars, lectures and research assignments designed to expand the trainee’s clinical skills and to provide a broad scientific basis for growth. The trainee’s rotation to various segments of the program follow a pattern of progressively increasing responsibility throughout the four year post internship training.
