Our staff
Residency program manager
Danni Hodges | 503 494-5324
Danni earned a B.A. in Psychology and French from Indiana University. She spent several years managing camps and conference centers across the state of Indiana before exploring her true passion: healthcare. After spending time in direct patient care settings, she has found her niche working with residents and the talented administrative team who keeps everything running smoothly. When she's not working, she can be found chasing her energetic son and puppy around the park, forcing her husband to expand his culinary horizons, or reading a good book.
Schedule coordinator
Courtney Flowers | 503 494-4496
Courtney is a proud Oregon Duck alumna and received her Master's in English from Portland State University. After living in San Diego, Louisiana, and Hawaii, she is happy to be back in the beautiful northwest. She loves Law & Order, politics, sports, and her rambunctious Labradoodle, Zoey. A dream of hers is to be on the Amazing Race, despite her fear of heights, selective eating, and lack of map reading skills. Courtney is thankful for the opportunity to get to know residents and loves investing in resident wellness and helping residents achieve their future work and personal goals.
Inpatient services and reproductive health clinic coordinator
Maria Sampson | 503 494-5418
Maria Sampson grew up in Portland, OR and attended the University of Oregon earning a B.S. in Psychology. Maria has been with family medicine for over 3 years. She greatly enjoys working with the passionate group of Family Medicine Residents and Faculty. Being a native Oregonian, Maria enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle; hiking, camping, kayaking, snowboarding.
Education coordinator
Brittany Buckwalter | 503 494-6773
Brittany enjoys working with residents to define their areas of concentration in order to have great elective opportunities and successful capstone projects. She is passionate about resident wellness and is often found helping plan wellness gatherings, hosting summer barbeques, and Thanksgiving meals for the residents. In her free time, she enjoys trying new eateries in Portland, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
Residency tracking and recruitment coordinator
Bridget was born in the Pacific northwest but spent most of her life on the East Coast. She earned her B.S. in Sociology from Christopher Newport University and an M.A. in Counseling in Higher Education and Student Development from Central Connecticut State University. In a past life, she has worked in university housing providing support and sometimes pizza to college students in both rural Maine and Salem, OR. The desire to live back in the Pacific northwest brought her to the land of coffee, doughnuts, and bikes. She is excited to be a part of the Family Medicine Residency program by helping to create a seamless and enjoyable recruitment season. When not at work she can be found running all of the bridges in Portland, spending time with her dog and husband, and cheering for Sporting Kansas City.
