About me

Dr. Masalmeh is originally from Syria. After graduating from high school, he came to the United States to continue his education and has lived in many parts of the United States.

Dr. Masalmeh has been practicing optometry since 2003. He gained a very extensive experience in all aspects of eye care through his work at Indian Health Service, community clinics and private clinics around of the United States. He loves interacting with patients and teaching future eye care providers. He enjoys interacting with people and getting to know other cultures. 

Dr. Masalmeh is married to a nurse and they have five kids. They all love the outdoors and travelling. When not working, Dr. Masalmeh enjoyes reading writing and spending time with his wife and kids hiking, biking, going to the beaches and visiting different parts of Oregon, the U.S. and the world. His motto is to leave the world better than you found it.
