Bill Chang, M.D.

Dr. Chang holds the Marsha & Richard Wright Sr Family Professorship of Pediatric Oncology and is the Director of the Pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma Program.  He earned his Medical degree and Doctorate in Neuroscience from OHSU.  He then completed his pediatric residency followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at OHSU.     Dr. Chang then joined the faculty at OHSU in 2006.

His research program focuses on identifying novel pathway targets in aggressive leukemias in hopes to better treat these life-threatening illnesses.  He has a strong collaborative program within the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute’s Hematologic Malignancies program.

Scientific interests: Karina is interested in distinguishing factors that drive differences in malignant and nonmalignant cell growth and survival.

Hobbies: Karina enjoys hiking, reading and scuba diving

Scientific interests: Ali is interested in immunology, and looking at disease through the lens of evolutionary medicine.

Hobbies: Ali enjoys spending time outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and learning about history
