About the talk

In this edition of the Virtual Brain TLC Lecture Series we'll discuss the latest research about Lewy body dementia and explain the current approach to its diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Quinn is a neurologist at OHSU and the Portland VA Medical Center, as well as the Director of the Parkinson’s Centers at both institutions. He works closely with the OHSU Alzheimer’s Center. Dr. Quinn focuses on patient care and conducts research on treating and preventing cognitive decline and dementia. His research ranges from animal studies testing experimental treatment strategies to clinical studies evaluating “biomarkers” and interventional treatments.

Brain TLC is an on-going OHSU lecture series - open to all community members - focused on aging, dementia prevention and brain health.
