MR Brain Tumor Follow Up WWO + Perfusion Neuro Protocol
Scan notes:
Adjust FOV and slices to best fit the patient's age and size:
- 0-2 years: 3mm slices / 1mm gap /small FOV
- 2-9 years: 4mm slices / 1mm gap / smaller FOV
- Over 9 years and adults: 4mm slices/1mm gap / larger FOV
- Send DSC source images to PACS, Intellispace and Archive
- Send Post Ax T1 to Intellispace
- Post process DSC
- Archive all sequences
POWER INJECTION
DSC: Injection Rate: 4-5mL/sec. Start injection 8-10 seconds after beginning the sequence. For peds patients with smaller IVs, consult with Rad and peds RN or Anesthesiologist to determine a safe injection rate.
