Chelsea Pyle, M.D.
Dr. Chelsea Pyle obtained her B.A. in Spanish from Sewanee: The University of the South and M.D. from Medical College of Georgia. She traded southern sunshine for snow boots to complete a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Tufts-affiliated Lahey Hospital and Medical Center during Boston's snowiest winter in recorded history. Chelsea enjoys good food, music, traveling, kayaking, fishing, and especially spending time with her yorkipoo, family, and friends. Chelsea will be staying at OHSU to complete a Women's Imaging fellowship after she graduates from residency.
Dominik Prosser, M.D.
Having grown up in Northern Nevada, Dr. Prosser obtained his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, subsequently completing his preliminary year with their internal medicine program. His interests and activities include reading books, watching movies, and spending time with his family. Dominik will be staying at OHSU to complete an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Dotter Institute after he graduates from residency.
Jaclyn Thiessen, M.D.
Dr. Thiessen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington and her Medical Degree from Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her internal medicine preliminary year at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. Jaclyn's interests and activities include dancing-salsa/ballroom and hip hop, skiing, sailing, hiking, playing piano, singing and surfing. Jaclyn will be staying at OHSU to complete a Neuroradiology fellowship after she graduates from residency.
Anu Brixey, M.D.
Dr. Anu Brixey obtained her bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Molecular/Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and her Medical Degree from The University of Chicago. She completed an internal medicine residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital followed by a pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and practiced as an attending for four years before going back to pursue radiology residency. Her current hobbies are running, hiking, reading, and traveling, but she spends most of her "spare time" trying to keep her two young children and two lab dogs out of trouble. Anu is focusing on a cardiothoracic fellowship during her 4th year of residency after which she will be staying on as faculty at OHSU in cardiothoracic radiology.
Veronica Sue, M.D.
Dr. Veronica Sue obtained her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of South Carolina and her Medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her internal medicine year internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Veronica's interests and activities include spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, running, the beach. Veronica will be staying at OHSU to complete a Body Imaging fellowship after she graduates from residency.
Cody Hedge, M.D.
Dr. Cody Hedge obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin and his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his transitional year internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Hedge's interests and activities include mountain biking, tennis, table tennis, fantasy football, live music, graphic design, gaming, and spending time with family and friends. Cody will be staying at OHSU to complete an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Dotter Institute after he graduates from residency.
Marie Nguyen, M.D.
Marie Nguyen, M.D. was born and raised in southern California. She received her B.A. degree from Columbia College in New York City, where she majored in biochemistry. After college, she carried out a Fulbright fellowship with the CDC in Hanoi, Vietnam. She received her M.D. from Brown University and completed 3 years of General Surgery residency at the University of Hawaii before starting Radiology residency. Dr. Nguyen is an avid runner who enjoys racing, surfing, and spending time near family, friends, and the ocean. Marie will be staying at OHSU to complete a Neuroradiology fellowship after she graduates from residency.

Alexander Boscanin, M.D.
Alexander Boscanin, M.D. attended Canadian University College in Lacombe, Alberta, where he received a B.S. degree in Psychology. He received his M.D. degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He completed an Internal Medicine preliminary year at Loma Linda Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. Dr. Boscanin enjoys surfing, traveling, food, and music.
Dianna Howard, M.D.
Dianna Howard, M.D., attended University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a B.S and M.S in Electrical Engineering. She worked for 5 years at General Electric Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI where she designed hardware and software components for CT and ultrasound machines. She received her M.D. degree at University of Wisconsin and afterwards stayed to complete a preliminary surgery year. Dr. Howard enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, yoga, traveling, and exploring new food and cultures.
Peter White, D.O.
Peter White, D.O. attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas where he received a BA degree in Sociology and played shortstop for the baseball team. He received his D.O. degree from Rocky Vista University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO. He completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at Legacy Good Samaritan and Emanuel Medical Centers in Portland, OR. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Lyndsey and son Camden.
Brendan Case, M.D.
Brendan Case, M.D., attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA, where he received his B.S. degree in Integrative Physiology. He remained in Iowa City and received his M.D. degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his transitional year at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Case enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and golfing.
Alexei Ku, M.D.
Alexei Siddens Ku, M.D., attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, where he received a B.S. degree in Evolutionary Biology. He received his M.D. degree at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. His completed his intern year in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at OHSU. Dr. Ku enjoys cycling, rock climbing, river rafting, and playing guitar.
Csanad Varallyay, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Csanad Varallyay obtained his Medical Degree and Ph.D. from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. After 3 years of neuroimaging research at OHSU, followed by 3 years of neuroradiology training in Würzburg, Germany, Dr. Varallyay returned to Portland to join the radiology residency program while continuing clinical research. His interests and activities include stereo photography, travel, hiking, kayaking and paragliding.
Thomas VanderJagt, M.D.
Thomas Vander Jagt, M.D., Ph.D., attended The University of Oregon, OR, where he received a B.S. degree in cognitive Psychology. He later received his Ph.D. in biomedical research in Neuroscience from University of New Mexico Health Science Center with a post-doctorate position at LSUHSC in New Orleans. He received his M.D. degree at University of New Mexico HSC in Albuquerque. He completed his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at University of New Mexico. Dr. Vander Jagt enjoys home improvement projects, being outdoors for any activity with his wife and young son, eating too much and too often, making and recording music.

Moses Azubuike, M.D.
Dr. Moses Azubuike obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Arlington. He worked at Baylor University Medical Center heart/lung transplant CVICU in Dallas Texas for four years before returning to medical school to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his Prelim Medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. Moses’s interests and activities include playing soccer, hiking, smooth jazz, and global health.
Ryan Meek, M.D.
Dr. Ryan D. Meek obtained his Bachelor of Science in Cellular/ Molecular Biology From the University of Washington and his Medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). He completed an internship year in Internal Medicine at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Ryan's interests and activities include road cycling, snowboarding, hiking, and researching pioneer/ Oregon history.
Erika Schneble, D.O.
Dr. Schneble attended Vanderbilt University where she received a B.A. in Neuroscience and Art History and M.A. in History subspecializing in Medicine, Health, and Society. She obtained her Medical Degree from Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her surgical internship at San Antonio Military Medical Center where she also completed research in cancer immunotherapy. Prior to radiology residency she completed a tour as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Schneble’s interests include West Coast Swing dancing with her husband, traveling the world, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Candice Henry, M.D.
Dr. Candice Henry obtained her B.S. in Anthropology and Biology as well as B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago. She received her Medical Degree from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed her preliminary medicine internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Candice’s interests and activities include hiking, documentaries, skiing, yoga, and finding every opportunity to travel.
Evan Narasimhan, M.D.
Dr. Narasimhan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington and his Medical Degree from the University of Utah. He completed a general surgery internship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Evan’s interests and activities include downhill skiing, mystery novels, hiking, trail running, ultimate frisbee and studying maps. His entire extended family lives in the Portland Area which has been his second home, but he will always root for the Huskies and Sounders!
Xara Johnson, M.D.
Dr. Johnson obtained her Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a PhD in Bioengineering and Medical Doctorate from the University of Illinois. She completed 2 years of an integrated vascular surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY, and a bioimaging research fellowship and certification in human investigation at OHSU. Xara's interests and activities include CrossFit, olympic weightlifting, bioengineering/device design and imaging research.
Neel Patel, M.D.
Dr. Patel obtained Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and his medical degree from University of Utah. He completed his internal medicine preliminary year at University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. His interests and activities include hiking, camping, biking, skiing, photography, astronomy, playing music (guitar, banjo, and mandolin), cooking, and eating.

Kevin Bieri, M.D.
Dr. Kevin Bieri obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his MD/PhD from University of Texas Medical Branch / University of Texas at Austin. He completed his surgical year internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Kevin’s interests and activities include guitar, vintage electronics, neuroscience, swimming, camping, and exploring the outdoors.
Segolene Weller, M.D.
Dr. Segolene Weller obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis and her Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her preliminary internship at Saint Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. Segolene’s interests include hiking, swimming, and snowboarding.
Peter Li, M.D.
Dr. Ningcheng (Peter) Li obtained his Bachelor's of Engineering in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his Medical Degree from Yale School of Medicine. He completed his surgical year internship at University of Washington Medical Center. Peter’s interests and activities include deep learning programming, hiking, immunobiology research, bibliophile and food adventure.
Robert Bodor, M.D.
Dr. Robert Bodor obtained his Bachelor's of Arts in Chemistry from Pomona College, his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, and his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University. He completed his transitional year internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Robert's interests and activities include skiing, photography, scuba diving, and hiking with his dogs.
Molly Wingfield, M.D.
Dr. Molly Wingfield obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Neuroscience from Grinnell College in Iowa. She then completed her Medical Degree and preliminary year at the University of Kansas. Her interests and activities include volleyball, craft breweries, yoga, reading, and exploring new cities with her husband.
Molly Downey, M.D.
Dr. Molly Downey obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology from Arizona State University and her Medical Degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University. After completing her preliminary surgery internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, she is excited to return to OHSU. Molly’s interests and activities include hiking, running, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and watching the Denver Broncos.
Maxwell Cretcher, M.D.
Dr. Maxwell Cretcher obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from Northern Michigan University and his Medical Degree from Michigan State University. He completed his transitional year internship at the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Max’s interest and activities include fitness, reading, food, and coffee.
