About me
Dr. Luty graduated with his BS in Biology from University of Portland in 2008 and spent a year in the Collaborative Genetics Resources Group at the OHSU West Campus performing research in Molecular Genetics and Neurobiology prior to attending medical school and Internal Medicine Residency at OHSU, where he spent several years as member and co-chair of the Housestaff Quality and Safety Council. Subsequently, he served for 1 year as the Chief Resident of Quality & Safety at the Porland VA Medical Center before joining the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2017. He is also the Medical Director of Performance Improvement for Graduate Medical Education and Faculty Lead of the Housestaff Quality &Safety Council. His clinical and research interests include health system improvement, change management, curriculum development, and graduate medical education. He enjoys running, swimming, playing water polo, listening to podcasts, playing board games, and spending time with his wife and three children.
