The Isabel McDonald Library maintains a collection of journals, books, and reference materials in support of the research needs of the ONPRC scientific community. There is a strong emphasis on current and historical works on primatology. Detailed information about materials in the Isabel McDonald Library are available in the Library catalog. This digital collection contains some of the rare Primatology works that are available.
The library provides reference services including searches, training in the use of databases and assistance with NIH Public access compliance. Interlibrary loan (ILL) and document delivery services are provided free of charge to current ONPRC and VGTI faculty and staff. ILL lending services are provided to other libraries via Docline and OCLC.
The Library is staffed 8-4:30 Monday to Friday (subject to the Librarian’s availability).
ONPRC personnel can obtain 24/7 card access but all other access (including other OHSU employees) is by appointment only.
