Nanoparticle ultrasound contrast agents
Adem Yildirim Ph.D. and colleagues at the Knight Cancer Institute Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research (CEDAR) center have developed novel nanoparticle contrast agents, that are small enough to accumulate within tumors. These nanoparticle contrast agents can potentially be used with ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic applications to improve tumor detection and cancer patient care.
