Important update: Board Review 2020

In light of continued concerns related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Annual Certification and Recertification Review Course for Physician Assistants, scheduled for Summer 2020. We plan to return next year with an expected date in late summer/early fall 2021. Thank you for your continued interest in and support for the Oregon Health & Science University Physician Assistant Program. We look forward to seeing you in the future.

*Thursday session will end at 1:00 pm to allow participants time for travel.

Sessions are expected to include review of the following topics: 12-lead EKG review, anemia, angina and acute myocardial infarction, cardiovascular risk factors, common dermatoses, common ophthalmologic emergencies, diabetes mellitus, emergency medicine, endocrinology, GI , hepatobiliary disease, hypertension, lymphatic and blood-based cancers, nephrology, neurology, obstructive and restrictive lung diseases, oncology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, psychiatry, respiratory tract infections, rheumatology, urology, valvular heart disease, women’s health.

Hotels

There are many lodging and housing options close to OHSU. Some may offer OHSU discounted rates, so please ask for the most up-to-date rate when checking on availability or making your reservation. OHSU provides this hotel list as a resource, but does not have experience with the quality of services available at these lodgings.

Refund policy

We will accept cancellations until two weeks prior to the start of the course. All cancellation requests must be in writing, and must include your home address (and social security number if original payment by check) in order to process your refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after the cancellation deadline. Cancellations received by two weeks prior to the start of the course, will receive a refund, less a 25% processing fee, and will take 2 to 3 weeks to process. Should you wish to substitute a colleague, simply fax or e-mail notification of his or her name and contact information by two weeks prior to the start of the course so that we may prepare registration materials.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 27 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits yet to be determined.
