Our nephrologists provide dialysis at Fresenius Medical Care, U.S. Renal Care, and DaVita outpatient facilities throughout the Portland metropolitan area, Southwest Washington, and the Columbia River Gorge. Comprehensive dialysis care is provided in conjunction with the nurses, social workers, and dietitians at these units.

We provide care tailored to fit a patient’s life goals. For many patients, this means home dialysis therapies, either peritoneal dialysis or home hemodialysis, while others prefer in-center hemodialysis. Home dialysis training and care are provided at select clinics throughout the area, with monthly visits between the patient, nephrologist, and dialysis team. In-center hemodialysis patients are seen monthly by their physician and usually once a month by a physician assistant who works closely with their main nephrologist. These visits take place at the patient’s dialysis unit.
