Dr. Sheridan and Dr. Hansen launch a clinical trial this month to study their innovative device for hydration assessment in children. This was made possible through a collaboration established between our team and the University of Portland biomedical engineering graduate school and the 2018 OHSU biomedical innovation award for Dr. Sheridan . The team is already in discussions to expand to another hospital after this initial trial. Dr. Sheridan notes "The engineering expertise, clinical innovation and research knowledge our team has allows us to rapidly progress through idea inception, prototype development and clinical testing.
