Coverage on VWI:
- If Philips: Oblique axial centered on COW, as in graphic below. F-H coverage 4.5-5.5 cm. Use MRA to plan placement of VWI sequence.
- If Siemens: Sagittal centered on COW. L-R coverage ~ 13.5 cm.

- Charge as: Brain WWO & MRA Brain WO
- Scanner preference: MR3, MR4, CHMR1. Only use 1.5T if implants.
- Coil: Highest channel available for max SNR (64 on Siemens).
