MR Brain Tumor WWO Neuro Protocol
Ordered as a Stereotactic scan?
No headphones. Light padding only per Frameless protocol.
Problems with patient motion?
3D imaging and compressed sense are very susceptible to patient motion. If you have exhausted the usual motion-combatting strategies (padding, medication, etc.), then switch to sequences less sensitive to motion including radial k-space sampling (PROPELLER, BLADE, MultiVane, StarVibe), single-shot, or just routine 2D sequences.
