MR BIOGEN Idec Study Research Protocol
Scan Notes:
- This is a stroke research study – the patients will likely have some aphasia and/or issues following directions or holding still. Try to pack into the coil as tightly as possible.
- This study has 4 time points: Baseline, 24hour, 5 day and 30 day. The study coordinator will work with you to schedule the first 3 – the patient will be on an inpatient floor for these scans. The 30 day is usually done after the patient has been discharged.
- PWI and TOF only need to be done for the baseline and 24-hour scans
