As an Alliance Manager, Ronn works closely with OHSU faculty and other members of the OHSU community to maximize the value and success of current collaborations, and helps advance research and the quality of patient care by establishing new collaborations within academia and industry.

Ronn received his Ph.D. in genetics, biophysics and molecular biology from the University of Colorado, where he studied mechanisms of DNA replication. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at OHSU, studying the roles of stem cells in restoring normal blood function after radiation injury, and then joined the Knight Cancer Institute as a senior research associate. His research focused on the roles of tumor progression in breast cancer. Prior to working with OHSU Collaborations and Entrepreneurship, Ronn worked as an agreements manager for OHSU Technology Transfer.

In his spare time, Ronn enjoys watching movies, fishing, camping, spending time in the beautiful Oregon outdoors, and volunteering his time with the Oregon Humane Society.
