Public Health Ophthalmology Summit

We were pleased to host the 2021 Public Health Ophthalmology Summit virtually on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021. This summit is held every other year, and brings together ophthalmologists, scholars, program leaders, advocates, and others in the field to share their experiences, present evidence and discuss important challenges in the field of public health ophthalmology.
The audience for this meeting includes clinical and academic ophthalmologists, residents, fellows, and public health professionals.

Target audience
Clinical and academic ophthalmologists, residents, fellows and public health professionals.
Learning objectives
- Identify collaborative opportunities for ophthalmologists in public health and assess ways to combine their efforts to increase their impact on eye health.
- Communicate with ophthalmologists about the many challenges to eye health equity in the U.S. and internationally.
- Identify the latest advances in A.I., telehealth, and other advanced technology fields and assess ways ophthalmologists might apply these resources in public health.
