2025 - ACP Advocacy Day (IM)
On March 19th, a group of IM OHSU residents participated in ACP Advocacy Day, joining physicians from across the state to discuss pressing healthcare issues with legislators. This year’s advocacy efforts focused on corporatization in healthcare, prior authorization reform, funding mental health resources for healthcare workers, and firearm safety legislation.

Our residents brought their firsthand experiences to the table, highlighting the challenges their patients face and advocating for meaningful policy changes. Their voices, alongside those of other Oregon physicians, play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in our state.
