Learn how health care organizations develop strategy, assess market conditions, and position themselves for long-term success.
Leadership and Organizational Management
MGT 520 – Organizational Mindsets for Managers (5 credits)

MGT 522 – Influencing Change in Organizations (4 credits)

Applied Consulting
MGT 554 – Capstone Consulting Project (5 credits)
Students complete a team-based consulting project addressing a real challenge facing a health care organization. Working with a project sponsor and faculty mentor, student teams conduct research, analyze operational or strategic issues, and develop actionable recommendations.
Projects frequently address challenges such as service line development, operational improvement, patient safety initiatives, and organizational strategy.
The Capstone integrates leadership, financial analysis, and health system strategy developed throughout the MSHA program.
