Our outreach program includes educational opportunities, especially for safety and health professionals, industrial hygienists, occupational health nurses, human resources and wellness professionals, and others looking for research informed learning offerings. This includes:
Designed for employers and practitioners who work in the field, including those representing worker compensation providers and regulatory agencies, to support and guide Oregon workplaces. - Oregon Total Worker Health® Alliance Webpage. As one of three partners within the Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance, we create and present virtual and live curriculum based on TWH concepts. Learn more.
- Occupational Health Psychology and Total worker Health Summer Institute. In odd years we offer the Occupational Health Psychology and TWH Summer Institute as a three day live or virtual educational opportunity combining research and practice. - What's Work Got to Do With It? Podcast addresses current occupational safety, health and wellbeing topics and discusses the public health significance of occupational health in an effort to make science broadly accessible, featuring Institute scientists and staff. Listen to podcasts.
- COVID conversations were recorded during 2021 with safety, health and well-being representatives from ten different industries (e.g., hospitals, restaurants, manufacturing, urban parks, poultry processing) to reflect on the challenges they met during the pandemic.
