Abstract: This seminar draws upon Dr. Sestito's research background spanning military aeromedicine, neuroeconomics, and aerospace human factors to explore topics of potential mutual interest with the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences. Areas covered will include psychophysiological profiling and resilience in high-stress operational environments; interoception and autonomic regulation under operational stressors; decision-making under uncertainty and leadership practices supporting human performance and well-being in extreme-environment workforces. The seminar is intended as an open conversation, with the goal of identifying shared research interests and opportunities for future collaboration.
