Support the Library

What We Do

The OHSU Library is the largest health sciences library in Oregon and our mission is to advance the effective, efficient and ethical use of information in support of education, research and healthcare in collaboration with OHSU faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors and volunteers. We provide information, tools and expertise that facilitate experiences and relationships that engage and nurture lifelong learning, research and creativity. Your investment in library spaces, technology and staff impact our community, and further our commitment to improving the health and well-being of Oregonians and beyond.

Ways to Support the Library

The Library is a place for individual learning and group engagement. Gifts to the Library’s General Fund provide flexibility for creative and diverse activities, spaces and technology to bring learners and scholars together.

Help build and maintain the OHSU Library collections! We welcome sponsorships that expand our ability to support learning, discovery and care at OHSU, throughout Oregon, and beyond.  Rosenbaum’s Legacy: A History of Neurology provides one example of a funded collection and lecture series.

More information on donating materials and sponsoring collections

For information on donating materials to OHSU Library, please see our OHSU Library Donation Policy and Guidelines and our Historical Collections & Archives Donation policy.

The OHSU Library's Collection Sponsorship Program offers individuals, departments or organizations an opportunity to completely or partially support the annual cost of subscriptions such as journals or databases that would benefit the OHSU community. We cannot consider subscriptions only available in print format due to space and access limitations. Adding a new resource requires, at minimum, a one-year financial commitment to maintain a subscription at the institutional rate. All sponsorships will be acknowledged in the online catalog and on our website.
