Teresa Bennett, Ph.D.
Senior Alliance Manager, Partnerships
Teresa facilitates partnerships between OHSU investigators and external partners. This entails both developing new projects and managing ongoing alliances, using collaboration to advance research and patient care.
Teresa has more than 20 years of experience in the biotech sector, including eight years working internationally. Prior to OHSU, Teresa served as the VP of strategic relations for Vivia Biotech, where she led the conversion of the company into a Contract Research Organization. Her scientific background includes drug discovery and development, hematological oncology and precision medicine. She brings expertise in project and resource management, and an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Teresa began her scientific career at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, investigating inflammation and immunology. She received her Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.
Teresa loves to travel and spends as much time as possible outdoors. She is an avid hiker and enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest.
