Nicole Garrison, Operations Manager

Nicole started working in the OHSU office of Technology and Research Collaborations (now known as OHSU Technology Transfer) in 2007, originally hired as the department's Administrative Assistant. Since then, she has held the positions of Executive Assistant, Compliance/Database Administrator, Operations Manager and her current role as Program Administrator. Nicole manages federal invention reporting, agreement compliance, database administration and data analysis. She also runs a number of programs, including the OHSU Innovation and Commercialization Internship, OHSU Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors and the BIPOC and Women Innovators Program.

Nicole is a graduate of Oregon Health & Science University's and Portland State University's joint Healthcare MBA program. She also holds a B.A. in psychology from Lewis & Clark College, where she graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with departmental honors.

As a nature enthusiast, Nicole keeps a monocular and a copy of The Sibley Guide to Birds next to her on her desk, just in case a new feathered friend flies by her office window.
