Arvin is responsible for evaluating, protecting, managing and licensing software and medical device technologies. He has successfully negotiated to completion 21 patent licenses, ranging from deals with large medical device companies in the U.S. and abroad, medium-sized software and medical device companies in the U.S., and entrepreneurs in the Portland area.

In addition, Arvin possesses four years of experience in software product development at Accenture for Fortune 500 companies in the electronics and high-tech industry. Arvin earned his Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a registered Patent Agent. He received his M.S. in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in biology.

Arvin is deeply passionate about rising to the climate challenge. He and his wife co-founded a 501c3 nonprofit to help empower everyday people to help solve climate change. He loves playing tennis, hiking and goofing around with his two daughters.
