The OHSU Center for Health Systems Effectiveness welcomes Research Coordinator Inga Suneson

Suneson joins the CHSE team following successes as an AmeriCorps VISTA leader and systems and policy coordinator at Marion County Health and Human Services.

The Center for Health Systems Effectiveness welcomes new Research Coordinator Inga Suneson, who will support the Center’s current research projects.

A former AmeriCorps VISTA and AmeriCorps VISTA leader, Suneson joins CHSE with over six years of experience working in the public health sector, serving in various roles for the Oregon Health Authority and Marion County Health and Human Services.

Suneson is passionate about using research data to identify actionable insights which promote health equity, particularly within historically underserved communities. She has served as the leader of the steering committee for the Marion and Polk Counties’ shared Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan process to identify and address the largest underlying causes of poor health and inequality within their populations.

Suneson holds a B.A. in planning, public policy and management from the University of Oregon, and recently earned her Master in Public Health from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.
