Kristy Cordero Receives SfN Neuroscience Scholar Fellowship

07/10/12  Portland, Ore.

We are pleased to announce that first-year Behavioral Neuroscience PhD graduate student, Kristy Cordero, recently received notification that her Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Neuroscience Scholar Fellowship application was successful!

The Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) is a three-year fellowship administered by the SfN to enhance career development and professional networking opportunities for underrepresented diverse undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows in neuroscience.

It should also be noted that Kristy started her PhD graduate studies at OHSU yesterday (July 9, 2012) and this is the second award she has received to date (see news item dated April 11, 2012 for details on Kristy's Promising Scholar Award). We are expecting good things.

Congratulations Kristy!
