Global collaboration in Ethiopia

An OHSU team recently returned completed 49 surgical procedures for pelvic organ prolapse in addition to providing educational efforts in family planning and midwifery. This was the first trip in our collaborative relationship with Gimbie Adventist Hospital. Learn more

Breath by breath

The Center for Women's Health and the Department of General Internal Medicine are excited to offer Breath by Breath, a free mindfulness-based stress reduction drop-in class. Participants are led by a trained instructor in learning to control stress naturally and begin a self-guided meditation practice.

Nutrition for Life

Free nutrition class with cooking demonstration for women affected by cancer

Eating well is not meant to be intimidating or challenging. In this FREE nutrition class, you will learn lifestyle changes you can make to improve your health and wellness. Each class will feature a new recipe and cooking techniques that you can bring home and share with your family. Expert guidance will help to grow healthy eating behaviors and the skills you need to feel comfortable in the kitchen.  

Bring your questions, an open mind, an apron (if you would like), and a willingness to learn!
