Hospice and palliative medicine fellowship (CAQ certificate eligible)

Inpatient Palliative Care 24 weeks total across PGY 3/4: 16 weeks at OHSU and 8 weeks at the VA
Hospice 12 weeks total across PGY3/PGY4
Palliative Pediatrics 4 weeks total across PGY3/PGY4
Long Term Care/Home Based Palliative Care 4 weeks in PGY4
Palliative Selective 6 weeks across PGY3/PGY4
Optional Palliative Selective 2 weeks each in PGY1 and PGY2

Sports medicine fellowship (CAQ certificate eligible)

Three 2-month blocks of Sports Medicine rotations each year (PGY3, and 4)  

An example schedule during a Sports Medicine week is included below: 

  • One half day of Fellow Sports Clinic in which fellow is precepted by Sports Medicine attending 

  • One and a half days per week with Sports Medicine faculty in Sports Clinic 

  • One half day of training room experience 

  • One half day with Orthopedic Sports Medicine, other Orthopedic subspecialty, or in the OHSU Human Performance Lab supervising treadmill tests, VO2 max testing, and muscular myopathy evaluations 

  • One half day of didactics 

  • Two - four half days in Family Medicine Continuity Clinic
