OHSU’s inaugural AI Summit, hosted by CBDS, BME and the Knight Cancer Institute, will showcase the institution’s cutting-edge work in artificial intelligence across all missions and disciplines. This event brings together innovators, leaders, and learners from all corners of OHSU to explore current research, resources, real-world applications, and new ideas in AI. Join us on November 21, 2025 in the KCRB Auditorium.  This event brings together innovators, leaders, and learners from all corners of OHSU to explore current research, resources, real-world applications, and new ideas in AI.

Highlights of the summit include:

  • Engaging presentations on developing and applying AI to address critical clinical challenges and unmet needs.
  • Free registration for all attendees.
  • Poster session and lightning talks where trainees and early-career investigators can share their pioneering AI-driven research (abstract submissions are due November 5th).
  • Opportunities to connect over lunch and a closing dinner reception.

The Summit will open for registration and refreshments at 8:00 am. Programming starts at 9:00 am and concludes at 5:30 pm, with the Reception following.

Posters and Lightning Talks

Lightning Talks:
A Lightning talk is a 3-minute presentation of your poster, supported by a single slide, from the main stage. These talks provide an opportunity to promote your poster topic before the poster session. Flash Talk presenters will be notified after the abstract review.

Poster and Abstract Information:

  • Finished poster size should be no larger than 48" vertical x 48" horizontal.
  • The character limit for abstracts is 200 words.
  • To change any abstract information previously submitted, please email the conference organizers at BME@ohsu.edu.
  • Please proof your abstract carefully for spelling and data errors.  Pay special attention to the author order and presenting author designation.
  • Submission of an abstract conveys permission to be included in Summit materials and posted online.
