Hunter Hames, B.S.
Hunter Hames, B.S.
Certified Personal Trainer
Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Texas at Austin and is dual-certified as a personal trainer through both ISSA and NCCPT, as well as an ISSA-certified Group Fitness Instructor.
A lifelong athlete, Hunter's approach to fitness is rooted in one simple belief: meet clients where they are. Whether someone is returning from injury, stepping into a gym for the first time, or training for their next adventure, Hunter's goal is to build genuine, trust-based relationships that make clients feel supported every step of the way. Having torn both ACLs and navigated his own recovery, he brings a deeply personal understanding of what it means to stay active through adversity and how to help others do the same.
Hunter's background spans a wide range of sports including basketball, tennis, pickleball, track and cross country, and volleyball. He is also an avid runner who checked the New York City Marathon off his bucket list. His passion for sport extends beyond the gym as well. As a journalist and beat reporter, Hunter has covered University of Texas women's basketball and the Seattle Storm and WNBA. A Texas native, he has proudly called the Pacific Northwest home for five years and embraces everything the region has to offer, from mountain hikes to sandy runs along the coast.
